[Durugin ang Amerika! from Iron Five ang singing ng Maoismo]

Monkey Smashes Heaven (monkeysmashesheaven.wordpress.com) is encouraging the development of new Maoist entities.

We are watching the work of two new Maoist influenced web pages: Iron Five ang sining ng Maoismo and Red Guard Camp. If they continue their good work over a lengthy period of time, we will add them to our links section and endorse them. So far, we like what we see overall.

On Iron Five ang singing ng Maoismo:

We can’t read Tagalog, so we can’t say whether or not we agree with everything on Iron Five’s page. We do note that Iron Five is making some good Maoist and anti-imperialist art. In addition, this web page appears to have some understanding of the parasitism of the first world. They also make positive reference to Long Live the Victory of People’s War! by kasamang Lin Biao. We also appreciate their Durugin ang Amerika graphic. Our guess is that this translates to “Death to Amerika!” This is encouraging.

We may have some differences with Iron Five over the nature of the CP Philippines. Our position is that the CP Philippines is not a true Maoist party because they do not understand global class analysis. They have made no statements identifying the first world as a whole, especially Amerikans, as enemies of the global proletariat. We take offense to statements by Jose Maria Sison that pander to White nationalism. We also take offense to his meddling in the revolutionary struggles in North America and occupied Mexico. Our belief is that the errors of the CP of the Philippines stem from the Theory of Productive Forces. The new modern revisionism stems from a failure to understand the full implications of the Theory of Productive Forces. The new modern revisionism counts Amerikans as exploited because it fails to understand that their bourgeois standard of living is a not a result of advanced technology. Rather, their standard of living is a result of the appropriation of super-profits stolen from the Third World. We hope the CP of the Philippines takes up true Maoism. Even with our differences with Jose Maria Sison, we defend him from imperialist attack.

Despite being revisionist, the CP Philippines and New People’s Army are landing blows against the principal enemy, namely imperialism, especially U$ imperialism. We count the CP Philippines as part of the broad united front. They are leading a people’s war; they are currently allies of the global proletariat despite their revisionism. We wish the people of the Philippines victory in their struggle against imperialism. We also hope that the people of the Philippines win their struggle against revisionism.

We disagree with identifying Mousnonya, Etext’s Art Minister, as a “comrade.” This said, we don’t see Iron Five’s treatment of Mousnonya as significantly going against our previous statement on Etext and Mousnonya. Iron Five is neither linking Mousnonya directly nor giving him any real authority in this single reference.

On Red Guard Camp:

We are encouraging experimentation and creativity. We have no problem with the unique personal style that Red Guard Camp has chosen. Red Guard Camp is currently running a series of polemics on fake-Maoists who advocate applying the ass line to the first world asses in the same way one would apply the mass line to the third world masses. We may have some differences with Red Guard Camp over the long term utility of debating with the social fascist fake-Maoists. However, we recognize that some debate with social fascists is inevitable given conditions in the first world. Plus, such debate can help sharpen some of our own arguments.

We have little interest in debates between the contending fakes. For now, we are butting out of their debates about the relative merits of the ass line method versus new age cult and pyramid scheme methods of organizing in the first world. There is no two line struggle with the fakes on either side of the divide.

Our policy so far is not to link entities that uncritically directly link or give political authority to wrecking ball organizations such as Etext. Red Guard Camp links a third party that does just this. This difference over linking policies is not one that will prevent us from linking and critically supporting Red Guard Camp.

Proper assessment requires watching practices over time a lengthy period of time. We hope these new entities continue with all that is correct in their orientations. Such would warrant the decision to include them in our links and endorse them outright. We will continue to watch these two new web pages. We will post our full linking policies in the future.

We encourage people to review our Criteria for Fraternal Recognition statement.

Red salute to Iron Five and Red Guard Camp for their work so far!
Put Maoism in command!
