Points of Unity

“We revolutionaries are monkey kings. We will turn the world upside down — the messier, the better..” – Red Guard leaflet

Monkey Smashes Heaven is a journal dedicated to smashing the old world to smithereens. The old world is rotten to the core. The First World as a whole exploits, rapes and plunders the whole planet and its peoples. It’s time to turn the tables.

1. Our goal is communism. Communism is the end of all oppression. We fight for a radically egalitarian social order.

2. The principal contradiction is between imperialism and exploited nations. Breaking the chains of imperialism is the first step to breaking all chains. To this end, we uphold the glorious strategy of Lin Biao’s Long Live the Victory of People’s War!. The global countryside will encircle the global cities. The proletariat in the Third World and its allies will encircle and defeat their enemies in the First World.

3. We understand that the proletariat and its allies are principally concentrated in the Third World and oppressed nations. The First World is populated by parasite classes that benefit by exploiting and oppressing the Third World. The parasite classes of the First World, including the bought-off First World so-called “working class” or labor aristocracy, are enemies of the world’s peoples.

4. We uphold the Soviet Union through the early or mid 1950s and China through the early or mid-1970s as imperfect examples of socialism. Capitalism was restored by a new bourgeoisie that arose within the Communist Party and state itself. Any single year that we establish as an exact milestone for when socialism ended and capitalism was restored will have an arbitrary element since the restoration process is complex. We are not going to pick fights over exact dates.

5. We uphold continuous revolution under the Dictatorship of the Proletariat. We uphold the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution as the furtherest advance toward communism in human history.

6. We uphold the broad united front against imperialism, especially Amerikkkan imperialism. We support all of those who are exploited or oppressed and point their spears at the Great Satan, Unkkkle $am.

WHO DOES MSH CONSIDER COMMUNIST?

MSH extends fraternal status based on the following criteria:

1. A fraternal organization must uphold revolutionary science. This entails understanding that a new bourgeoisie arises within the Communist Party and tries to restore capitalism, as happened in the USSR in the 1950s and in China in the 1970s. This also entails upholding the need for continuous revolution under the Dictatorship of the Proletariat.

2. A fraternal organization must uphold the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution as the furthest advance in human history.

3. A fraternal organization must uphold our general line on the labor aristocracy in the First World. This means that the “workers” in the First World countries, especially the United States, are bought-off, bourgeoisified labor aristocrats. They must be viewed as enemies at this time. Parties that believe that the United States, Canada, France, England, Germany, and other big imperialist powers have a substantial proletariat will end up as lackeys of imperialism.

4. A fraternal organization must uphold the national liberation struggles of occupied Mexico/Aztlan, the Black Nation, First Nations, Boricua (Puerto Rico) and other internal semi-colonies within North America.

5. A fraternal organization must uphold the broad united front against the principal enemy imperialism, especially US imperialism.

6. A fraternal organization must reject all imperialist agents. This entails rejecting the so-called RCP=USA and RIM, among others. This includes not linking to them or giving them any legitimacy.

7. A fraternal organization must reject all forms of Trotskyism, social fascism and White nationalism, even those forms that pretend to be Maoism.

8. A fraternal organization recognizes that first world feminism is an enemy of national liberation movements. A fraternal organization must reject the idea that first world females are friends of the oppressed nations. Fraternal organizations reject Trotskyism disguised as gender concerns. See point 7.

9. A fraternal organization must reject all Cominterns and Trotskyist Fourth International schemes. This means rejecting the so-called RIM, the international conferences sponsored by the Worker’s Party of Belgium (PTB), and the International Conference of the so-called Marxist-Leninist Parties and Organizations sponsored by the so-called Marxist-Leninist Party of Germany (MLPD).

10. A fraternal organization does not engage in pig work or wrecking activities against the revolutionary movement.

Fraternal organizations can disagree over other points of line, for example:

11. We do not require fraternal organizations to uphold our analysis of the so-called “May 16th Corps” left, Chen Boda, Lin Biao, the Four or even Mao necessarily.

12. We also do not require fraternal organizations to uphold other points concerning gender.

13. We also do not require fraternal organizations to uphold our approach to language or agitation.

14. We also do not require fraternal organizations to agree with us on the role of Party building or agitation or other organizational points.

In general, agreement on points 1-10 is necessary and sufficient for MSH to declare an organization fraternal. If a significant unforeseen disagreement arises, we can assess that at the proper time.

MSH extends or refuses fraternal recognition on the basis of its understanding of various organizations’ politics. Fraternal recognition from MSH is extended to those organizations that we consider communist. MSH may at any time change its decision about an organization’s fraternal status as more information about the organization’s political line comes to light.

HOW DO I HELP?

MSH puts our hearts into revolution. MSH is overworked and needs help. Want to help? Here is how:

1. MSH needs writers. MSH’s focus is on theory, history, economy and culture. MSH will also publish current events articles.

2. In these dark times, it is necessary to preserve Maoist works that are not readily available. Before scanning and sending works to us, email MSH to see if we already have them.

3. MSH is looking for good graphics from the GPCR generally. Specifically, MSH is looking for graphics from the GPCR that reflect the title of the Journal. If you have access to these comics or cartoons, please email them to us.

4. MSH needs money. Keeping things going requires money and time. Email us.

  1. Why the animosity towards Trotskyism?

    • Trotskyists are imperialists. Nuff said.

  2. That’s hardly enough said, Comrade. Exactly what is it that you take issue with?

  3. Trotskyism is a metaphysical, social imperialist ideology. Like any version of First Worldism, It is not grounded in reality.

Trotskyism has always sold out the proletariat to the reactionaries. Trotsky was not beyond allying with the imperialists, including the Nazis, in his bid for power against Stalin.

Trotsky was a First Worldist. He thought that the storm of revolution was heading West. Lenin, Stalin and Mao held the opposite opinion. Trotsky’s politics were labor aristocratic politics par excellence. In practice, advancing the class interests of the First World “worker” is advancing the imperialist exploitation of the Third World. Trotskyism is one version of social imperialism. It is socialist rhetoric coving up imperialist politics.

His idea of permanent revolution is a defeatist position that has been proven false by history. Those who continue to advocate it are Euro-centrists who can’t conceive that socialism can be built by anyone other than Europeans and Amerikans. It is a chauvinist manifestation of the Theory of Productive Forces.

This is not the place to outline everything that is wrong with Trotskyism. There are whole books on the topic. Those who think that Trotskyism is compatible with Maoism-Third Worldism do not understand either.

    • I’d agree that Trotskyism originally held these tenets, but since the time of Trotsky these positions have been changed to be more third-worldist. As far as Trotskyists working with the Nazis against Stalin, I’d have to state that this is hardly any worse than working with Stalin against Hitler.

      • Trotskyism is not Third Worldist at all. It represents the opposite of the Third Worldism. There is not a single Third Worldist Trotskyist party in the world. Words have meaning, you cannot just assign any meaning you want to them and expect to be taken seriously. Trotskyism represents a certain group of ideologies, all of which are sharply opposed to both Maoism and Third Worldism.

Stalin led the masses of the Soviet Union in constructing socialism. Under his leadership the proletariat made huge advances. Stalin led the masses in turning one of the most backward countries in the world into a proletarian superpower that saved the world from fascism. While Stalin made the hard choices necessary to survive, Trotsky worked with the imperialists to put himself in power and sell out the Soviet people. It is the typical Western narrative that sees Hitler and Stalin as two dictators slugging it out. The proletariat and Soviet peoples disagree with the Western narrative.

Marx said that the bourgeoisie trembles in the face of communism. The West fears Stalin just as Marx said they would. However, for the oppressed masses, Stalin represents the heroic efforts of the Soviet peoples to transform themselves from a backward people, encircled by imperialism, to an advanced socialist country able to challenge imperialism on a world scale.

      • “As far as Trotskyists working with the Nazis against Stalin, I’d have to state that this is hardly any worse than working with Stalin against Hitler.”

Thank you for your clarity .

Exactly ,you have stated the trotskyite world outlook very clearly: to see history in terms of great personalities and perfectionism for middle class dreamers , never from the viewpoint of the class interest of the proletariat .

It is all one and the same to you as it was for the great man and his ego.

  4. Stalin and Trotsky both made their contributions to the global class struggle. It’s time to move on and smash imperialism, which is what both leaders would want us to do!

    • Trotsky was an imperialist. Trotskyism is an imperialist ideology. Trotskyism is social imperialism — it is imperialist dressed up with socialist-sounding rhetoric. The only thing Trotskyism offers the Third World is more exploitation.

Should proletarians “move on” their split with fascism too? What about their split with the democrats and the republicans?

Fighting imperialism means fighting fascism just as it means fighting Trotskyism. Your liberalism disarms the proletariat.

  5. Would you consider me a Maoist if I agree with all the above points, except that the bought off First Worlders can produce certain revolutionary tendencies during crises which can weaken imperialism, and that exploitation occurs just as often in forms of social organization (division of labour etc.) as in tangible wage differences? I’m not that familiar with Maoism yet, but I’d imagine that the First World will become revolutionary once imperialism is smashed and the capitalists turn inwards to suck the blood of their bloated subjects.

Great blog, thanks for all the articles.

    • If you belive there is a First World proletariat in any significant sense, then you are a revisionist. Specifically, you are a First Worldist revisionist.

There is no exploitation in the First World. There is no proletariat. MSH has proven this numerous times.Check the numberous articles in the economics sections. Those who advance the interests of First World workers are more akin to fascists than socialists.
